What it is, plainly
Micro cement is a two-component, lime-based cement applied only 3mm thick. It can cover most surfaces on walls, floors and ceilings.
Microcement bathrooms are what most people come to us for. The finish is seamless — no grout lines to scrub, no tile joints to fail — and it carries straight across the walls, the floor and into the shower recess so the whole room reads as one surface.
It goes over existing tiles in most instances, which is the part that surprises people. There is no demolition, no skip bin and no re-waterproofing from scratch, so a dated bathroom is resurfaced rather than ripped out — eliminating time and cost on your renovation.
It mimics exposed concrete, stone and traditional Tadelakt, and it takes a colour, so the same material can read as raw industrial concrete or as soft warm clay depending on what the room needs.
